Kaza town is located in Spiti Valley of western part of Himachal Pradesh.It's adjacent to Tibet and Ladakh region which are famous for dry environment also known as cold desert.Kaza town is situated on the banks of Spiti River. The town has two parts old Kaza and new Kaza. In the local language people call these as Kaza Khas for old town and Kaza Soma for the new town area. It's the largest town of the district. Kaza is famous for its cultural events. A monastery Sakya Tangyud is also tourist attraction. It's one of the coldest towns in India with an average temprature -25 C in January while July is hottest month with average temperature around 10 C.

How to reach Kaza: You can reach at Chandigarh by flight. Then you will need to go by road. 

Also train is also only upto Kalka railway station. Ahead of that you will need road transport.

There are two ways to Kaza town. 

1.You can go to Manali from Chandigarh and then Manali to Kullu.

2.You can go to Shimla from Chandigarh. From here you should visit Narkanda and then take road towards Kalpa and then reach Kaza.
